We are a locally-owned and operated bicycle shop located in Sooke, BC. Just a short 1.5km pedal from the trailhead of the renowned Harbourview mountain bike trails, we truly believe Sooke is the place to be. We are dedicated to providing the best service and products to our customers. We offer a wide range of bikes, parts and accessories for all types of riders. We also have a full service workshop committed to keeping your bike in tip top shape. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, we're here to help you with everything you need to enjoy life on a bike!

Check Over
Starting at $50
A quick inspection to ensure your bike is safe and road-ready, including brake and shift checks, tire pressure adjustment and a basic safety assessment.
- Adjust front and rear shifting as best as possible
- Adjust brakes within available service life
- Clean braking surface
- Lube chain
- Adjust headset and check stem alignment
- Bolt check entire bike
- Inflate tires to preferred PSI
- Provide general mechanical assessment and recommendations
- Mechanic test ridden

“Lorien & Bryce are incredible! After my rear (di2) derailleur exploded high up on the Butler Main, I found my way down to The Bike Shack where they literally saved me! Not having any compatible components was no problem. They put their heads together and were able to set my bike up as a single speed with an older derailleur they had on hand so I could get back to Victoria. They were super friendly to not only me but every customer that walked in the door. The Bike Shack is a must stop if you're ever in Sooke!”
